My African Uncle (2006) , 35 minutes DV
Dennis O’ Sullivan is going through a rough time. He’s 40 years old, depressed, wasting his life drinking beer, and watching videos of his dead wife. In an effort to motivate him, his sister and brother-in-law give him a computer in the hope that he will find a girlfriend, a hobby, an interest - anything to get him off of the couch. He immediately makes a new friend, Barrister Albert of Nigeria, who notifies Dennis that his great uncle has perished in a tragic plane accident in Africa, leaving him a fortune. Dennis is soon visited by the mysterious Bayo and his life is changed more than Bridget and Kevin could have imagined.
